Vault Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 14, 2026

Vault is a home inventory app that helps you remember what is stored where. This policy explains what information Vault uses and how it is handled.

Information You Provide

Vault may store information you add to the app, including:

Photos and Inventory Data

Photos and inventory details are used to provide Vault's core features. If you use cloud sync, this information is stored with Firebase services so it can be available across your signed-in devices.

Alexa Account Linking

If you choose to link Vault with Alexa, Vault uses account-linking tokens so Alexa can answer questions about your saved inventory. Alexa access is used only for Vault skill requests and does not give Alexa your Vault password.

Photo Assistant

If you use Vault's Photo Assistant features, selected photos may be sent to an AI service to generate item suggestions. These suggestions are used to help fill in your inventory and should be reviewed by you before relying on them.

Service Providers

Vault uses third-party service providers to run the app, including:

Sharing

Vault does not sell your personal information. Information is shared only when needed to operate app features, when you choose to share a Vault location link, or when required by law.

Data Controls

You can edit or delete inventory content inside Vault. You can unlink Alexa from the Alexa app. To request account or data deletion, contact the app owner using the support information provided with the app listing.

Security

Vault uses authentication and cloud service security controls to protect account and inventory data. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, so use care when saving sensitive information.

Children

Vault is not intended for children under 13, and the app does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

This policy may be updated as Vault changes. The updated date at the top of this page will show when the policy was last revised.
